The Philips Hue Bridge is the heart of the Hue system and is responsible for controlling various light sources. For this purpose, the Philips Hue Bridge networks various illuminants and light bulbs from the manufacturer of the same name. Various routines and automations can be set up via the smartphone within the Hue app, which let the entire home shine in up to 16 million colors. The Philips Hue Bridge is also compatible with various smart home systems and offers all interfaces for controlling the lamps. But not only own products can be connected with the bridge. The Zigbee standard allows the Philips Hue Bridge to easily integrate and control other devices with the same wireless standard.
