The Gradient Lightstrip for the Philips Hue system is designed for TVs between 55 and 60 inches. Unlike previous lightstrips, it allows several colors to be displayed simultaneously. According to Philips, seamless color transitions are thus possible, which is particularly important when used as an Ambilight. The Gradient Light Strip requires the use of a Hue Bridge and Hue Sync Box.
